STUDIO NAVET, founded by Lina Huring, Maria Johansson, Helena Svensson, and Cecilia Wahlberg, is a Stockholm-based practice working at the intersection of furniture design, interior architecture, and artistic direction. Since 2012, the studio has developed a distinctly multidisciplinary approach, moving fluidly between interior architecture for private and public contexts, furniture design, and site-specific artistic commissions, while also assuming curatorial and artistic leadership roles within larger collaborative projects.

Central to the studio’s practice is a rigorous, process-driven methodology. Each project begins with the imposition of precise constraints—frameworks that are not only upheld but continuously interrogated and renegotiated throughout the design process. This dynamic tension between limitation and exploration informs a body of work that is both conceptually grounded and materially sensitive. Alongside their architectural and spatial work, the studio maintains an ongoing engagement with small-scale production. Operating both as producers and as designers for external collaborators, NAVET foregrounds tactility, proximity, and the conditions of making as integral to their practice.

NAVET means New And Very Exciting Things. Selected clients include Folksam, Pembroke, Vero International, Konträr Stockholm, H&M Group, IKEA, Atelier100, Svenskt Tenn, Vitra Design Museum, Fotografiska Museet, Terroir Milano, and The Conran Shop.
