A full refurbishment of Fredsgatan Optik, an eyewear store and optician in Gothenburg. Studio Navet teamed up with textile professionals Ylva Sundin and Klara Persson to create a soft, colourful backdrop for the products — a setting where the frames
read clearly against warm, tactile surfaces. Hand-crafted mirrors were made for the store, along with new display cabinets and furniture tailored to the space. The result is a considered retail interior that treats eyewear as something worth looking at closely,
and lingering over.
