The Pomo Kitchen in Stockholm by Studio Navet — pastel blue cabinetry, natural wood, granite counter, and terracotta tiles in a postmodern apartment.

The Pomo Kitchen

Client: Private
Type: Interior Architecture, Residential
Place: Stockholm

Fatburen was once a lake, later built over as a postmodern residential complex in the 1980s and 90s. When the owners moved in, they asked Studio Navet to redesign their kitchen while celebrating its postmodern character in a contemporary way. The base of the original kitchen was preserved and reused, while the space was reimagined in a lighter, softer palette: pastel blue cabinetry, natural wood, a granite countertop, and terracotta tiles.

Tiles from Höganäs Kakel
